Execute Transfer Requests

The Execute Transfer Request action is the final step in completing an approved asset transfer. Only a Transfer Authority (Owner, Digital Asset Manager, or Asset Manager) can execute the request after both parties have provided their approvals.

When executing a transfer request:

• The system updates the asset record and reassigns the role to the recipient organization.
• If document transfer was selected during the approval stage, associated documents are shared according to Data Sharing Specifications (DSS).
• The new role holder receives access to relevant asset data and documents.
• The previous role holder retains read-only access but can no longer modify or manage the transferred data.
• Once executed, the transfer request status changes to Completed, and the transfer is fully reflected in the platform.
